The GoPod serves as a protective carrying case for your oral appliances. It features four UV lights for disinfection, a built-in fan for drying, and an aromatherapy chamber capable of holding a few drops of your favorite essential oils to remove odors and provide a pleasant fragrance.
UV lights disinfect by emitting UV radiation, damaging the genetic material of bacteria and viruses, preventing them from replicating and causing them to die. UV light disinfection is widely used in hospitals, laboratories, water treatment facilities, and air purification systems to reduce infection spread and maintain cleanliness.
When removing an oral appliance from the mouth, it typically retains moisture and can accumulate odors and bacteria. To address this, we incorporated a built-in fan in the GoPod to dry your appliances. The extent of drying depends on the initial moisture level of the appliance, but nonetheless, it aids in drying. Additionally, the fan helps circulate the aroma of the essential oil, enhancing the overall experience.
Removing an appliance from its case often brings about unpleasant odors and tastes. The aromatherapy chamber is an optional feature we've developed to infuse your appliances with a fresh scent before placing them back in your mouth.The chamber can accommodate a few drops of your favorite essential oil (we particularly recommend mint), which will then circulate within the case when the fan activates.
